It’s amazing what a 15-second Daft Punk sample can do. It can make a 10-minute loop of a snippet of music absolutely transfixing, it can make that clip of Ron Swanson dancing somehow even better, and now, it’s making Justin Timberlake’s increasingly ubiquitous song “Suit & Tie” somehow even more buzzworthy. This mashup from Chicago mix-masters The Hood Internet combines the Internet’s current two favorite songs into a sexy dance-floor jam par excellence. Jay-Z’s verse is excised from this version, but as far as Jay-Z substitutes go, it doesn’t get much better than Daft Punk. Enjoy your Friday-afternoon soundtrack!
